Lauren Brevner

Lauren Brevner is a young self-taught Canadian artist currently living and working in Vancouver, Canada. The artist is of mixed-heritage; her diverse cultural background is demonstrated in her mixed media oil paintings and her inclination to experiment with materials. Lauren’s art is distinguishable for her use of color, non-conventional canvas materials and visually striking female portraiture. Having recently completed a residency in New York City, Lauren went on to exhibit in Portland, Oregon, Vancouver, British Columbia and Toronto, Ontario.
